Privacy.
Effective 26 September 2026.
No cookies. No analytics. No tracking. No third parties.
This policy describes what happens to information when this website, 22nne.com, is visited, and when someone writes to the address on it. It is written to be read. The short version: the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, carries no advertising and loads nothing from anyone else’s servers. It does not track visitors, and it has no wish to.
Who is responsible
22NNE (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa (registration number 2026/759363/07), is responsible for this website and for the handling of any personal information described here. Questions, requests and complaints go to [email protected].
What the website itself collects
Nothing, by design. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, no comment sections, no newsletters and no embedded content from other services. The site is a set of static pages. It does not set cookies, does not use browser storage to identify anyone, does not fingerprint browsers, and does not load fonts, scripts, images or anything else from a third-party server. Because nothing is tracked, there is no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are honoured by default, since the site does nothing that those signals would need to stop.
Server logs
Like every web server, the one serving this site keeps standard access logs: the IP address a request came from, the page requested, the date and time, the browser’s user-agent string and, where a browser sends one, the referring page. These logs exist for security and fault-finding - to notice an attack, to find the cause of an error - and for nothing else. They are not combined with any other data, not used to build profiles and not shared, and they are discarded once they are no longer needed for those purposes.
Writing to 22NNE (Pty) Ltd
Email sent to [email protected] is handled as ordinary correspondence. The message, the sender’s address and whatever the sender chooses to include are used to read and answer it, and are kept for as long as the matter it concerns is open, or as long as the law requires records of that kind to be kept. Nobody is added to a mailing list by writing in, because there is no mailing list. Correspondence is not sold, rented or passed on, except where the law compels it. The mailbox is hosted by a mail service that processes messages on behalf of 22NNE (Pty) Ltd and under its instructions.
Legal basis
For visitors in South Africa, the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) applies. For visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR apply. Under all three, the basis for keeping short-lived server logs is the legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working, and the basis for keeping correspondence is the legitimate interest in answering it - or, where a message leads to an agreement, the steps taken towards that agreement.
Rights
Anyone whose personal information is held - in practice, anyone who has written in - may ask what is held, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Requests go to [email protected] and are answered within a month. Complaints may also be taken to the Information Regulator (South Africa), or to the supervisory authority where the person lives.
Children
The website is not directed at children and, since it collects nothing, holds no information about them.
Applications
Applications published by 22NNE (Pty) Ltd are covered by their own privacy policies, linked from the application and from its store listing. Those policies, not this one, describe what an application collects and why.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. There is no database behind it and no personal information stored on it; what little exists lives in the server logs and in the mailbox described above, both of which are access-controlled.
Changes
This policy changes only when what the site does changes. The effective date at the top moves when it does, and the current version is always the one at 22nne.com/privacy/.
